So, the first step in learning how to control your dreams is to learn how to become lucid during your dreams. Lucidity is the first step in dream control because you must use your conscious mind to actually direct the content and direction of your dreams.

Don’t worry if you can’t figure out how to control your dreams as soon as you become lucid in your first lucid dream. This isn’t unusual. In fact, many lucid dreamers start out by waking up almost immediately every time they become lucid because they get so excited about this fact! Just start out slowly, and don’t worry too much about controlling your dream. At first, you’ll just want to experience it to see where the dream might be going.

Once you’re better at becoming lucid, you can start learning how to control your dreams. Controlling your dreams starts by realizing that you are the author of your dreams. No matter how much it seems like dreams are controlled by some outside force, it’s important to remember that they’re all coming from within your own mind. You can be in control of your dreams because they all have their origin in you, anyway!

Plus, you need to remember that in the dream world, literally anything is possible. The laws of physics and logic simply don’t apply. You can fly, leap tall buildings, find a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow – whatever you want is possible here in your dream world.

Once you realize these two things, you can make anything happen in your dreams. If you’re seeking specific information on how to control your dreams, there are lots of different techniques that people use. Some use potions and magic wands to make things happen. People who have the most grasp on the ideas above can normally just think something and make it happen because they know they’re the ones who are in charge.

When you’re first figuring out how to control your dreams, you might need magical objects or other assistance to practice real dream control.
