Lucidity Induction MP3

Using a lucidity induction MP3, which is embedded with brain frequency recordings, can help make lucid dreaming a bit simpler for you. Sometimes, I like to use a lucidity induction MP3 if I’m having trouble inducing lucid dreams, and it was particularly helpful to me when I was just starting out. I recommend listening to one if you’re interested in a handy drug-free gadget to easily induce lucid dreams.

Not sure what a lucidity induction MP3 is or why you’d use it in the first place? I don’t want to get too technical, but I can give you a basic explanation of how a lucidity induction MP3 works and how it might be helpful to you.

Brainwaves: a quick tutorial

One of the coolest things about modern science is that it can tell us exactly what’s going on in our brains through imagery and the study of brain waves. For ages, people have wondered what sleep is really like on the brain level. Why is it that after half an hour of napping, you wake up feeling refreshed, but you feel groggy if you let yourself sleep too long? How, exactly, do dreams work? When do we know we’ve gotten enough sleep?

These questions and many more can be answered by looking at our brainwaves. When we sleep, our brains go through various stages. In the early stages, your brain goes from having beta waves—which are when you’re alert and awake, to having alpha waves—where you begin to become more comfortable but are still conscious. Then, you dip into the theta phase—where dreams start to occur. Finally, you move into delta sleep—the deepest level of sleep.

You cycle through these levels of sleep regularly every night, going down into and coming back out of delta sleep. This is why you’re groggy when you wake up from a too-long nap—you’ve woken yourself directly out of delta sleep, which isn’t a great idea.

Anyway, this is all really interesting, but what does it have to do with a lucidity induction MP3?

How a lucidity induction MP3 works

A lucidity induction MP3 works through binaural beats and isochronic beats. With binaural beats, alternating beats are sent to your ears one at a time, but your brain will make up the difference between the two—causing a shift in brainwaves and your consciousness. Isochronic tones will induce your brain to synchronize with their rhythm, which also changes brainwave patterns.

By changing the listener’s brainwave patterns, a lucidity induction MP3 can help you enter the correct state of sleep for lucid dreaming at the right time, depending on whether you’re using the Wake Back to Bed technique or are just falling asleep for the first time at night. The frequencies don’t physically change your brainwaves, but your brain will move to match up with them, so you can manually shift between the theta and alpha phases, dreaming while remaining conscious.

Such theta brainwave recordings are great for those who are just starting out in lucid dreaming and are having trouble becoming lucid. However, I’ll still pop in a lucidity induction MP3 once in a while if for some reason I’m having difficulty achieving lucidity. A good lucidity induction brainwave MP3 may be just what you need to jumpstart your lucidity.

I particularly recommend Unexplainable Store’s lucidity induction MP3—as it’s pleasant to listen to, affordable, and backed by the latest in brainwave science. You can use it nightly or whenever you feel you need a little boost in your ability to become conscious during your dreams. Just google “Unexplainable Store lucid dreaming” and I think it should be the first result that comes up.
